Designers like nothing better than a client that has done their homework and knows what they want and what their price range is for their project.

Here’s some things you can do to be prepared and get a fast start on designing you project:

• Research future appliances that you will want to incorporate in your new design.
• There are great references on the internet including large appliance stores with displays from low end pricing to high end pricing.
• Do Not purchase anything at this point. Only get model numbers and prices.
• Collect magazine photos of friends & family kitchens that you like and dislike
• Put some thought in what you want the total project to cost. A guideline of what you should spend is 7% of what the total value of your home.
